Amanda Cook is one of the leading young guitarists of her generation, having performed and recorded internationally to universal acclaim. Her three solo albums have garnished high praise, cementing her reputation as one of the finest players in the country. Amanda is a member of the celebrated guitar trio ‘Appassionata’ and has served on the jury of several International Competitions, regularly giving masterclasses and adjudicating music festivals. Tonight she returns to the South Bank for the London Guitar Festival to play a concert of music by Dowland, Narvaez, Torroba and Lovelady.
