la leona concert

Sun 23 Oct

St Pancras Room, Kings Place

1.00pm | Zoe Barnett and Renata Arlotti

As one of IGF’s YAP awardees for 2022-2023, Zoe Barnett is a classical guitarist who is currently studying at the Royal College of Music for a Master of Performance where she is generously supported by the Derek Butler Trust. Zoe is continuing her studies under the tutelage of Gary Ryan and Christopher Stell.

She has performed in numerous concert halls across Europe and China such as the Wigmore Hall, Sala Maria Cristina Malaga, and Shanghai Grand Theatre.

She made her concerto debut in 2018 and is looking forward to playing with the Orpington Symphony Orchestra in 2023.

Renata Arlotti’s musical journey started in her hometown Sassari, and soon followed a prestigious international path. Like many great masters before her, Renata’s classical guitar playing was shaped by Italian and British influences whilst studying in Milan, Aosta, Lugano, Siena and London. Renata then embarked on an intense concert activity, with solo and chamber ensemble performances all over the world, most recently in Tehran, Nagoya, Tokyo, London and Grenoble. In 2016, she completed her Master of Arts in Music Performance at the Royal Academy of Music and was selected as an IGF Young Artist Platform performer.
